Emil Hecht, MD and Tannia Hecht, MA, who have a combined experience of 70 years in patient care, founded Cara-Mia in 1992. Dr. Emil Hecht is a board certified Otorynolarigologist (head & neck) and facial Plastic surgeon. He is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington and directs the state of the art Center for Facial Plastic and Laser Surgery in Bellingham, WA.

Tannia Hecht, MA is President and Educational Director of Cara-Mia Associates and has been a medical and skin health educator for over 27 years. She is an International educator for various companies and is a frequent guest speaker on television and radio interviews. She lectures at universities, hospitals, holistic health centers and medical congresses both in the US and Canada.
